And then the oven after the shortbread came out...
And as soon as I left to go to knit night her and Joy #2 staged a coup and turned on the furnace. Ugh...so I lost furnace wars. It was 58F when I left so not terrible. I do not want to discuss that what she was wearing when I got home! A tank top and sweatpants. Really!?! I think I was duped.

I think you've made excellent progress!
Must have been toasty warm in the house when you got back. It's all about comfort until you're the one paying the bills.
Wow, the vest looks great! You've definitely made a lot of progress!
The vest is looking super! I can't believe how much progress you've made. I was the same away about the heat until I started paying the bills. Now I can hold out for a long time!!!
We still haven't turned ours on! It is only 68 degrees in the house at the moment and I do knit in front of a faux fireplace (space heater).
The vest sure is coming along! It looks fantastic.
Our heat has been turned on here and there for a few weeks now. We haven't gotten our corn yet for the corn stove. The farmers just started to harvest corn. Maybe this weekend, if it stops raining!
The typical response at our house when someone says they're cold is to answer with "Go put on an undershirt!" LOL. Amazing how layering clothing adds to the warmth factor.
